Laszlo Gazdag has extensive technology, finance, and business background. He has a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics from the Technical University of Budapest and an Executive MBA from Purdue University (USA) and ESC Rouen (France). He has substantial experience in launching and operating technology and software companies and in asset management. He has acted as a representative of European banks in Hungary. He is familiar with international business development in Central and Eastern Europe, and multilateral co-operations in the EU, and cross-border, cross-ocean transactions.

Laszlo Gazdag, Executive Director, developed The Collins Group’s presence in Hungary. His task is to build on the initial TCG work in Hungary and Croatia and to take The Collins Group into the other countries of Central & Eastern Europe.

• Founder and managing director of Divio Media Ltd. a video encoding technology developer/Hungarian-Swedish company (2010-).
Managing Partner, Crosswell Ltd.; investment advisory activity, portfolio management, foreign exchange and commodity trading strategies, managed funds (2007-2009).

• CEO of Optilink Hungary Kft (subsidiary of Optilink AB of Sweden) where he formed a 20 man technical team to develop cutting edge read/write devices for holographic storage technology (1999-2006).

• Acted as chief representative in Budapest of Standard Bank of London (1998/9) and Glumina Banka of Croatia (1996/7).

• He was managing Director of Central European Advanced Technologies Ltd, which was a management support and financial services for high tech companies, project management and technology transfer in Hungary (1994-1999).

• In 1992-1993 Laszlo was sales & marketing director at Lasram Ltd, where he established a domestic distribution network and organized international sales.

• Tungsram Laser Technology Ltd, 1988-1991: Deputy Managing Director (1990-91) in charge of sales and marketing; Director of job shop centre (1988-89): technology supervision, networking and technology transfer.
Tungsram Co, 1984-87: Team/Project manager: product development, R/D engineer.
