Daniel Machlup

Daniel Machlup joined The Collins Group to advise our clients on entering Brazil’s retail market. Daniel has been an independent consultant for over 14 years to Brazil retailers.

He has extensive experience in organizing stores, assembling and supervising buying teams, financial services and MIS for retailers. His past experience includes a successful 25 year career as Senior Manager at C&A Modas Ltda. a leading Dutch fashion retailer where he was dealing with an annual budget of over US$1 billion and 8,000 workers. He was also responsible for the expansion of C&A Modas' stores and information management. Daniel also supports the Board of Directors of a Pension Fund on investments, and acts as Chairman of a small chain of stores. Daniel has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the Escola de Admininstracao de Empresas de Sao Paulo da Fundacao Getulio Vargas University, Sao Paulo and is fluent in Portuguese, English and German.
